Beet Introduction

The knowledge and experience of Maguin-Interis was developed in France in the field of distilleries and Beet sugar plants, which supply alcohol to world leading spirits and cosmetics groups.

Three axes of development allowed Maguin-Interis to achieve unequalled performances:

  • the excellence in terms of chemical and organoleptic quality (tasting) of Extra Neutral Alcohols “ENA”
  • the high alcohol yield
  • very low energy consumption

Because Beet is processed over a period of 3-6 months a year, units are designed to allow the treatment of several raw materials:

  • the raw juice, extracted from Diffuser, during beet campaign
  • B molasses, high and low grade run-off (from centrifugal station), which can be stored and treated out of campaign,
  • beet molasses (or C Molasses),
  • beet syrups
