SLAUGHTER HOUSE AND ANIMAL CARCASS INCINERATION

Important sanitary, logistical and financial problems are involved in the disposal of waste produced by slaughter houses and the co-products of the meat industry. Today, these raw co-products are collected and transformed into MBM (Meat and Bone Meal), a process requiring a high energy input.

Already recognised as the European leader for the supply of MBM thermal treatment units, MAGUIN now offers a range of equipment designed for the direct incineration of co-products from slaughter houses and industrial plants (3.5 MW to 12 MW). This option eliminates the MBM step, which is beneficial both in terms of finance and the environment.

Advantages:

  • co-products are treated on site – no transport
  • reduced consumption of fossil fuels
  • waste to energy process producing steam and hot water, electricity or refrigeration
  • reduction of costs and reduction in dependence on traditional channels.
  • odour destruction

MAGUIN equipment can also treat complete animal carcasses in their static kiln range.
