Through the years Maguin has become THE specialist for the Beet End of a beet sugar factory and has developed or acquired technologies that are now the reference standard for the industry:
- dry beet yard (wet beet yards are available too)
- washing line with dry feeding and drum washers (classical wet feeding is available too, as well as paddle washers
- transport and washing water solid separation and by-product recovery
- drum beet slicers
- tower diffusers with cossette mixers
- pulp presses installation (partnership with Babbini)
- three pass pulp dryers and pellet mills (Maguin Promill)
- coke, gas or fuel fired lime kilns and milk of lime stations
- juice purification stations (partnership for candle filters and filter presses)
- alcohol / ethanol plants (Maguin-Interis)
Maguin can then offer, mainly with its own products, complete beet plant stations from beet storage to juice purification including pulp handling. This supply may be complemented by a Maguin alcohol production station.
Besides the supply of new installations, Maguin carries out diagnosis of existing plants (audit of performances and equipment condition) followed by proposals for modifications.
References are numerous and refer to beet line processing capacities ranging from 3,000 to 25,000 t/d, and alcohol/ethanol plants with capacities up to 1,000 m3/d.
