Maguin has been a major supplier to the sugar industry for more than a century and has therefore known the time when all machine builders had in their range all the types of equipment to be found in a sugar factory, from the beet yard to sugar drying.

Throughout the years, Maguin has specialised in the supply of equipment for the beet end of the sugar making process but has nonetheless kept a range of equipment for the rest of the process or to be used in other MAGUIN activities.

These products are :

• evaporators
• batch boiling pans
• mixers, minglers / magma or massecuite mixing machines
• air pollution control equipment
• Bulk solid transport equipment for customized application (large size belt conveyors and screw conveyors)

Thanks to its skills in process engineering, to its long experience in equipment designing and manufacturing, installation erection and commissioning,

Maguin is able to help customers in a whole range of other services :

• Heat balance, material balance flow simulation for existing installations (computer modelling)
• Design of tailormade equipment for sugar factories or other uses (design in CAO 2D and 3D (software: Autocad, Solidworks, Ansys, Flow simulation)
• Process automation
• General and detail engineering (PDMS software, Autocad)
• Assistance for the control and repair of existing equipment (preventive maintenance support or repair). Maguin can then manage a whole equipment repair or modernising project, from the project definition to the actual works. Maguin’s involvement can be on a case by case basis or can be in the form of a global agreement for several factories in the same group.
