Revamping a 60-Year-Old Calcination Kiln

At Maguin, we regularly work on complex industrial equipment. Our latest project involved the complete revamping of a 60-year-old calcination kiln used for titanium powder calcination.

An 18-Month Project

The project lasted 18 months, including an 8-month on-site phase in Alsace, Eastern France. It required precise coordination and the technical expertise needed to refurbish an aged piece of equipment while ensuring compliance with current production and safety standards.

A Technical and Methodical Intervention

Great – revamping an industrial kiln that has been in service for several decades requires thorough analysis and a tailored intervention. Our teams carried out :

an in-depth assessment of the equipment and its components,
targeted actions adapted to the site’s specific constraints,
work performed in accordance with industry best practices.

This operation illustrates our ability to extend the lifespan of long-standing industrial installations while ensuring their compliance with modern requirements.

A Team Effort

The success of this project is the result of close collaboration between our engineering, maintenance, and project management teams. It reflects our commitment to supporting our clients in maintaining and modernizing their industrial tools, regardless of their age or complexity.
